I no more like to study and the fear of failure made me ...

I am back in school after 4 years of job experience and I have been struggling with assignments and exams. I no more like to study and the fear of failure made me miserable. This book has every piece of information written in jocular manner, which gives you strength, knowledge and motivation to study in RIGHT way. Its a great read and methods work at the same time you loose the fear and do whats necessary to be done, instead of procrastinating or crying and complaining. A must buy for all students

Superb reference guide for anyone going through the schools or uni.

I am a fan of BAWA and Dinesh for many years. So when I saw this book, I immediately got it. It is a pleasant read, full of useful strategies & techniques most of which are not difficult to implement. His humorous way of addressing difficult topics makes it easy for the reader to quickly grasp the idea.

A book which is not a text book, but something more than that which can elevate one's game considerably, with little effort and discipline.

Dr. Mike Dow is a psychotherapist, best-selling author, and relationship expert. OK of all stroke / aphasia books that I have read this is THE BEST!

OK of all stroke / aphasia books that I have read this is THE BEST!....My name is Kurt Baker and I had a stroke 9 years ago and as a result I also have aphasia as well. The reason I like this book so much is because it is more "holistic" than other stroke books. Typically stroke books are focused towards speech pathology or some single aspect. Don't get me wrong, speech pathology is the best thing that is out there as it relates to aphasia recovery. At the same time it's MORE than just speech pathology and this is where Dr Mike Dow comes into the party.....speech pathology is important but now psychology and insight of neuroscience that Dr Mike brings in this book!!....I highly suggest that all caregivers and now that there is an AUDIBLE maybe STROKE and APHASIA survivors can LISTEN to the book too! Obviously, the crowning of the book is the stroke survivor....David Dow and my friend! Throughout the book, in addition to the science, is David Dow's personal insight of his own massive stroke at age 10.......All I can say is WOW!

UPDATE: I completely finished the book "Healing the Broken Brain"....Stroke survivors.....There really isn't much that is not included in this book (I prefer the Audible)!....Get it and read it or listen to it. I really don't like books that are all fluff. This book is filled with practical suggestions for both the survivor and the caregiver! It is VERY comprehensive and it is from some of the best of the best experts around!

This book is very clear and well-organized. It contains a ton of practical advice from experts for stroke survivors and their families. I wish this resource had been available when my husband had his stroke three years ago, and am glad we can benefit from it now.

About the Author
Josh Alwine is a lifetime fisherman, who currently resides in Houston, Texas with his family. He has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, a Master’s Degree in Business from Marquette University, and has achieved a Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma. He currently works as a Director of Operations for a large industrial conglomerate overseeing manufacturing plants in several states. He’s fished as far south as the Florida Keys and as far North as Canada chasing a variety of fresh and saltwater game fish.

Great work, excellent book.

I have fished seriously for about 20 years and I've read most of what has been written regarding bass fishing. This book is an absolute must read for anyone who is trying to gain a better understanding of fishing. The author has a way of keeping things to the point and doesn't ramble just to sound like an expert which I much appreciated as a reader. It also is not an obvious advertisement for a particular brand of lures or tackle.

I would rate it's relevance for the beginning angler up there with the work of Buck Perry and Dr Keith Jones as most beneficial to read.

The undeniable truth of fishing

I wanted to scream obscenities at the author for many of his statements. I wanted to chuck a 2oz crankbait at him at several other points. I wanted to tell him he was flat out wrong but there is too much data to prove me wrong . After reading this book I realized just how many "old wives tales" exist in the fishing world . This book presents the truth about catching fish, plain and simple. Forget about what direction the wind is blowing or what the temperature or moon phase is - this book will present you with a new view and fishing strategy. The author made me a believer. As soon as things thaw out in the great white north, these strategies will be put to great use.

The first third of the book does an excellent job summarizing

Well written, enjoyable to read, and to the point/no fluff. The first third of the book does an excellent job summarizing, analyzing, and extrapolating from prior studies. The data analysis in the last 2/3 is the new ground. Easy to read data tables, charts, and graphs. The book covers strategies for catching numbers and size. The book includes so much information in a well written, concise manner; I can't think of a better book as a primer on bass fishing. It will certainly influence how and when I fish.
