Received a copy from author for an honest review. Some Spoilers...
In book four Dana is trying to take back control of her life. She has finally admitted what has happened to her. She tells her Peter everything. She doesn't want him to hear it from anyone, but her. She finds peace and comfort being with Peter and that is all she needs to have the confidences to keep going.
At school she still has panic attacks when she hears and or sees Trip. Dana only sees one way to over come her fear of Trip. It is to confront him and warn all other girls about the monster he is. After struggling with what to do, she confronts Trip in the school cafeteria. This causes a big scene, which ends up with all their parents, the counselor, principal and VP, and a sheriff to come to the High School.
It is an empowering scene and the entire time you are rooting Dana on. Peter stands by her for support and doesn't falter in being the strong silent companion she needs. This one was by far my favorite. We see Dana growing into a woman and Peter slowly coming into trusting others.

Victims be warned

I received this book from the New Adult Book Club for my honest review.
Because I am rating books 2-4 a 4 star rating, I am going to lump the reviews together. Although each book ended with a cliff-hanger that kept me coming for more, overall I struggled with this book. It felt like watching an attempted rape survivor struggling with the stages of what happened in real time. It was slow and painful. It is the first book that really deals with the inner struggle of a attempted rape victim in this manner. It was hard to understand at times. Peter has his own past abusive issues, and she has new ones. The scars are fresh in this book and keep mounting. All I have to say is thank God I did not live as a teen with social media. It terrifies me for my son. It is definitely worth the read, but victims may have a really hard time, so be warned.

Love this series. I'm rooting for Dana and Peter. Enjoyable read, only thing I don't like is the cliff hangers, but that's just me I'm not a fan. I have really enjoyed this story so far and can't wait to read 5 & 6.
