the perfect book from a master of bass!

I use this book almost every single day. The exercises are concise, great fun and perfect for strength building. You can really see the time and effort put into creating each little exercise with the intent of becoming a better player in just a few minutes each time. I'd recommend this book to anyone, even Myung or Wooten... Yes that's right. I'm sure even they could learn a few things from it!!
I'm lucky enough to have been taught by Marek himself. When i first joined my band Skreamer, e sat with me during our first album recording and showed me just how creative a bassist can be when laying down my parts. It truly opened my eyes! His lessons are always something to look forward to. You always leave full of motivation and hunger to improve. Apart from having a flawless technique to look up to, he's insistent on thinking outside the box at every turn. He pushes you to become not just a better bassist, but a better musician.

Profound and highly useful Exercises

This book should be in every bassist's library. It provides material for both the beginner and the very advanced and if you follow the instructions you will have a hundred professional lessons' worth of material to study for the next year or so.
It's hard to beat this concise, clear and well-structured instructional opus - you will be able to use it for practice, warm-up, rhythmn schooling, tempo control, groove and also as an inspiration to create your own licks, melodies, pieces etc.
Furthermore you feel that the author knows what he's talking about and has a lot of experience to share.
The price is more than fair if you consider that
a) your playing will improve drastically if you follow the exercises and
b) you will be able to utilize this book for years!
